Comment: I have noticed that a lot of the Christmas decor for sale this year is more of the Santa and reindeer theme, instead of the nativity. I have been to two different Lowe's stores trying to buy a luminated Angel to put in the yard and could not find one. I just found deer, snowmen, and tacky inflatable scenes. But I did find a manger scene @ both stores for sale on top of shelf's about 25' in the air.

Comment: It was encouraging to see the words "Christmas Trees" in our local Lowes store here in Sanford, FL. Christmas music was playing, and there were some nativities among the decorations as well. Perhaps it depends on the individual stores, so maybe we should give our positive comments of appreciation to them personally as well.

Comment: I don't know whether they used "Christmas" anywhere, but I was thrilled to see two large manger scene yard decorations and a Noah's ark yard decoration for sale. Last year Jesus-centered decorations were almost completely non-existent. I'm actually much more upset by the "Santa-fication" of Christmas than the absence of the word Christmas in greetings and advertisements.

I have worked for them for 15 years and have never had a problem and every chance I get I wish the customer a Merry CHRISTmas. Lowes plays CHRISTmas Music and on occasion Christian songs the last few years. They have CHRISTmas trees and some stuff that says holiday on their packaging.
