campaign is set to launch. While some companies are still leaving the word
"Christmas" out of their advertising, many others are showing respect for the
Christmas tradition….many retailers are waking up to the fact that it is more
inclusive to mention "Christmas."

Comment: I phoned Nordstrom 3 times this week, and each time they answered the phone with "Merry Christmas, this is Nordstrom..." I said, "Merry Christmas to you!"

Comment: The store was decorated with a Christmas theme and Christmas trees. It was November 28th when I shopped. The cashier didn't wish me a happy anything, but when I wished her "Merry Christmas", she wished me a "Merry Christmas" as well.

Comment: My wife and I wanted to congratulate them (Novi store) on not merchandising Christmas before Thanksgiving and going out of their way to state so on store displays. What a welcome relief? We'll have to watch to see if they are really celebrating "Christmas" and not the "holidays".
