campaign is set to launch. While some companies are still leaving the word
"Christmas" out of their advertising, many others are showing respect for the
Christmas tradition….many retailers are waking up to the fact that it is more
inclusive to mention "Christmas."

Comment: I was disappointed not to see Merry Christmas in the stores Christmas displays, or hear Merry Christmas from the employees. I really like shopping at Banana Republic but do try to avoid shopping from them during the holidays when they are not supporting Christmas.

Comment: There seemed to be no concern or awareness that the reason we celebrate Christmas. I will not shop in this store unless they change their view on this most important holiday. I will use my money to support retailers who understand that "Merry Christmas" is not offensive. It's more offensive to ignore this holiday.

Comment: I have never had this store show any enthusiasm regarding Christmas. It is solely a retail holiday to them and any mention of Merry Christmas is never returned when dealing with them on the phone or online.

Comment: I clicked on their ad and used their search function. Typing in "Christmas gifts" I got "Holiday gifts." Narrowing my search, I typed in "Christmas" and got "0 results for this search." They will get the same number of purchases from me.
