Comment: We visited the East Hartford, CT store today. Lots of evidence of CHRISTMAS! Yes! One very helpful associate, after he had looked up information I was seeking, wished me "Happy Holidays." I responded enthusiastically, "Have a Great Christmas!" he answered with a sincere smile, "And you, too!" (I love doing this to associates who give the generic Happy Holidays greeting . . . almost to a "t" they respond with a huge smile, and "Merry Christmas to you, too!")

Comment: Shopped at Cabela's in Owatonna, Minnesota last weekend...when the clerk wished us "Merry Christmas", we said how nice it was to hear that, because many places don't say it. The clerk smiled at us and said again, "Merry Christmas!"

Comment: I visted my local Cabela's store on "Black Friday" and noticed their catalog with Christmas prominately displayed on the front cover. Upon arriving home I called their corporate office to compliment them. The gentlemen I spoke to replied: "out here, we believe in the basic tenet to keep Christ in Christmas." We both wished each other a Merry Christmas.

Comment: Even though we're Hawaii residents we buy Cabela's for gifts and for winter travel. Their gift card has a big Merry Christmas on it and also on the catalog cover, too. Thanks Cabela's.

Comment: Both the online Cabela's sales and the catalog call Christmas what it really is Christmas! Merry Christmas is something that retailors rarely say or even print for that matter. Glad that Cabela's remembers to do this.

Comment: I love Cabela's just like the next guy and I shop them (online) often. However, I have to give them a "negligent" rating on their web site. As of 6:40PM EST 12-4-09, not one single mention of Christmas. They have "Holiday shipping rates"; "Holiday Hot Buys"; and a FREE shipping promo code of "9SANTA" all listed on their home page, but nothing mentioning Christmas. Sad.

Comment: My wife and I were in the Dundee, MI. store Nov.30 for less than an hour and we heard at least two religous Christmas songs that mentioned the name of Jesus!!! I thank God for this store and others like it that are not hindered by political correctness.

Although most of their items are too expensive for me this year, I did look through the catalog instead of just trashing it immediately. Thank you Cabela's!

Comment: Just looked at Cabela's website. Immediately saw three phrases with Christmas in them - Christmas Shop, Christmas list, Christmas code. Christmas seems to be alive and well at Cabela's!
